Grant approved by Deutscher Musikrat for development of “Amsel – Build up your voice” app!
Of all of the things I do as a freelance musician, I never expected to add “app developer” to the list. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be working with App-Stone Entwicklung to turn my online database for warming up and improving vocal technique into a user-friendly app! The planned launch is summer 2021, and thanks to this grant it will remain free for the remainder of 2021 or as long as the pandemic persists. Many thanks to:
Grant approved by Berlin senate for “Danzar y bailar! Ein volkstümliches Weihnachten”
My first grant has been approved by the Berlin senate for a project slated for December 2021 including 6 singers, a small orchestra of 7-8 people and conductor. An unknown Kapsberger oratorio and Spanisch villancicos from Bolivia will be featured in this contrasting Christmas program of a different sort! Check here for the other grant winners—>
Summer series “Titans Rising Aperitivo”
to launch May 24th
Thanks to the generous donations given to our campaign, which started in March 2020 after all concerts were canceled, we were able to aid a number of freelance musicians as well as set up a new Livestream series for your indoor or outdoor enjoyment throughout the summer. The “Titans Rising Aperitivo” series will employ musicians throughout the summer and be streamed from the church at Lietzensee. You can find the link to the concerts via our webpage or the QR codes printed on the posters hanging in the Lietznesee park! Donations to continue the project—>
Vocal technique database online!
My new database of 28 vocal exercises (for low and high voices) that I use frequently with my students is now complete and online! While my students are probably more familiar with the goals and method of execution for each exercise, anyone is welcome to use it for warming up and advancing their vocal technique.

Digital concert room “musical diary”
up and running
Call for donations
On March 13th came the announcement that all concerts would be canceled at least until April 19th 2020. Since this will drastically affect freelance musicians, who earn a considerable amount of their yearly income from the upcoming (canceled) passion season, Titans Rising has joined together with the Church at Lietzensee to raise funds for musicians struggling at this time. Please consider donating to this cause: (within the EU)

Titans Rising finishes 10th for “Best audience of the year 2019”
In a survey by the magazine Concerti, Titans Rising came in 10th place for “Best audience of the year 2019” in all of Germany. In the city of Berlin the fairly new concert series came in 2nd directly behind the Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra – not bad for a chamber music series barely five years old!
The first Titans Rising Academy weekend for vocal ensemble music is Nov. 9th and 10th.
